Respected M’am Khaitan,
Thank you very much for the surprise gift and the letter of appreciation from my Alma Mater. I was pleasantly surprised, overwhelmed and greatly humbled by the gesture. I graduated from the school (then known as Ashok Hall, Tollygunge branch) in 1988. It has been 32 years and a lot has happened in the intervening years. However, the knowledge and values instilled in me by the school and its wonderful set of teachers has given me the strong foundation and has been the guiding force which has stood me in good stead since then.
Thank you once again, and I wish all the success to my Alma Mater in achieving greater heights in the coming years.
Kindly do let me know if I can contribute in any manner to do my bit for my Alma Mater.

Dear Mrs. Ganguli
I write this letter to thank you, the Ashok Hall School Administration and Khaitan Ma'am for taking the time and effort to send me the beautiful letter of appreciation, it means the world to me. The wonderful words of appreciation and the (priceless) gift speaks volumes about how much the school and the teachers care about students and the community they serve.
I attribute whatever success I have found in life to my family, teachers and friends that I have made along the way. At school we were always inspired to aim higher and be the best versions of ourselves. Growing up, I went through all the usual challenges and hurdles in a child's life but I learnt to persevere and not give up easily. These qualities have helped me throughout my career and personal life.
As I read through the story of Hon. Mr. B. K. Birla and foundations of my Alma Mater, it motivates me to aim even higher and at the same time remain humble and grounded.
This gesture by the school reinforces the bond that I have with the school. I thank you once again for the love you have showered upon me.
With Warm Regards
I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you for the incredibly thoughtful gesture of appreciation.
I want to thank you and all the teachers at the prestigious institution for the constant support, help as well as a beautiful learning environment to help us become who we are.
Thank you once again for the motivation and inspiration to continue doing great work for society and make our alma mater proud!

Dear Ma'am Khaitan,
I am an alumna of Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar and had graduated in the year 2013. I received a gift and beautiful letter from school yesterday and I am writing to you to thank you for this very kind gesture. MBSV will always be very special to me. The institution as a whole and the teachers in particular have contributed immensely in making me who I am today. This gesture from school reminds me how kind and full of affection the school was and still is. I derive inspiration and receive support from the institution and the teachers even to this day. I hope that in the future, I will be able to contribute to the school as well.
Thank you very much once again. I am very grateful that I got the opportunity to be a part of the Ashok Hall Group of Schools. The lessons that I have learnt here have been invaluable.
Dear Manjushree Ma'am and Principal Ms. Sarkar,
I received the most beautiful gift today, one that I will cherish for a long time- the gift of remembrance.
As I grow older I realise that how my school like no other institution shaped me as an individual in ways beyond academic achievements- it helped define my moral fibre, values and ethics that holds me in good stead. When I looked at the photo of smiling Late. Sh. B.K Birla I realised how I am a product of one man's vision.
By sharing this truly beautiful gift in paying homage to his illustrious life you have also given us the opportunity to remember his contribution to each of our lives and reminded us that no matter where we go we will always be connected. I am deeply touched!!
A special thank you to Asha Ma'am who went out of her way to track me down and for sending the package to Singapore...

I am honoured to receive from Ashok Hall Girls Higher Secondary School Alma Mater as a token of love and appreciation.
After so many years receiving such an appreciation, I am overwhelmed. The school has shaped and groomed me so that I am in a position to return back to society as a Professor.
Ma’am you would be glad to know that I have been teaching in the Computer Science department of St. Xavier’s college Ranchi for 15 years. I am also a certified career counsellor helping school students to choose a right career. I shall be glad if I can be of any help to my school fraternity.
Thank you so much for love and appreciation.
