12 years seems like a very long time, but somehow, I can still remember my first day at school as I gingerly treaded the steps of Ashok Hall Junior School for the very first time, watching my parents waving at me from the school front door. I realise I am extremely lucky to have been guided with so much love and care for all these years.
Ashok Hall has given me a lot of opportunities and opened up a lot of doors for me. I remember being extremely shy, and I will never fail to acknowledge the role AHS has played in helping me come out of my shell. At every step, all my teachers have pushed me, motivated me, and encouraged me to become a better version of myself. One of the main reasons I am who I am today is the relentless support of all members of this community that I love and cherish.
Over all these years AHS has become a second home to me, the teachers and the staff a second family. I would like to thank all of my teachers and the staff of Ashok Hall for always making me feel part of something I realise is so truly special.
Everyone at school has witnessed me grow over the years, and have given me bits and pieces of good advice to which I never fail to refer to in times of need. They have made learning, something we think of as 'drab' the moment we hear it, into something enjoyable and fun. None of the classes ever seemed like classes, thanks to their constant energy and enthusiasm. I am so grateful to everyone there.
Ashok Hall has given me a lot, beyond my descriptive ability, and I sincerely hope to live up to everyone's expectations and give back to the place I have made a second home.
